Free Range

Due to variations in feeding behavior from specie to specie, the following guide can help;

Free-range chickens – Feed consumption will vary depending on the environment and level of supplementation. That is, if birds are kept in an environment rich with vegetation and insects, the consumption of the feed will be less. On the other hand, if the birds are in an environment with no vegetation and insects, the birds will consume more of the feed. Likewise, if birds are supplemented with leftover food the consumption of the feed will be less.
